Only two of Henry VIII's wives outlived him. His fourth wife Anne of Cleves and his last wife Catherine Parr. Henry VII died on 28 Jan 1547 (age 55).

Henry was married to his first wife Catherine of Aragon from 11 June 1509 – 23 May 1533 when he had his marriage annulled. Catherine died on January 1536. Her daughter Mary later became Queen of England.

His second marriage was to Anne Boleyn from 28 May 1533 – 17 May 1536. Their marriage was annulled and later Anne was beheaded on 19 May 1536 on charges of adultery. Her daughter Elizabeth later became Queen of England.

His third marriage was to Jane Seymour from 30 May 1536 – 24 October 1537. She died on 24 October 1537, twelve days after giving birth to Edward (later King of England) due to complications.

His fourth wife was to Anne of Cleves from 6 January 1540 – 9 July 1540. She died on 16 July 1557, the possible cause being cancer.

His fifth wife was Catherine Howard from 28 July 1540 – 23 November 1541. She was beheaded on 13 February 1542 on the grounds of treason for committing adultery with her cousin Thomas Culpeper. .

His sixth and final wife was Catherine Parr who was married to Henry from 12 July 1543 – 28 January 1547 due to the death of Henry. Catherine later died on 7 September 1548.
