How many states in the United States border more than one ocean?

Of the 50 states in the union, almost half border an ocean. Except for one state, Alaska, those that border an ocean border only one. Alaska borders both the Pacific Ocean along its southern side and the Arctic Ocean along its northern side.

The Bering Sea along the west coast of Alaska is divided between the curve of the Aleutian Islands and the narrow opening between North America and Asia. It is considered to be a part of the Pacific Ocean.
