I might add, in spite of her many marriages and affairs, she was still a classy lady. She maintained upmost privacy for herself and her family. You never heard of her going out on the town, getting wasted, getting arrested. She was definitely old Hollywood. I still prefer celebrities of her calibur.

Diane Bass Mccraine I guess I just don't like it when people are so ignorant they don't know "knew" from "new" or "where" from "were" or "to" from "too" or "than" and "then", etc. The person making the mistake SHOULD be embarrassed at how ignorant they sound or possibly actually are. I only took the required English classes in college so I am by no means a total expert but I do know the basics. This is obviously much more than most of the people online today.

Mary Keim Please, it was a typo. Pease litein up. But then again youse 'spected that huh. By the way, I too love the English language and do not like it being "Slanged". I have a "Word of the Day, I give to my g-children while we are driving to school. They love it. Master the English language and one takes a hugh step to be great learning other languages. English has a way of changing a meaning of a sentence by changing or omitting ONE letter. Sea ya later. Its bin fun.

I actually took that to mean how many husbands did she have. Ooops!
My mother used to say that if Mike Todd hadn't died she'd have stayed with him forever.
My mother did have some strange ideas at times.
