Where do you get the information saying that the Hershey Bar is 100 years old? There is nothing anywhere stating that the Hershey Bar was developed, first produced or sold in 1916 or 1917, it was developed in 1900, and the Hershey Bar with almonds was introduced in 1908. There is also no information that I could find showing anything of significance in the production or marketing of any Hershey's product in 1913 or 1917. I live just a few miles from the Hershey Company and I have a lot of friends who work there. Hershey history is pretty well known in this ares and your version of the timeline doesn't match anything the locals know about it so I looked it up and I see that the written word on the internet matches the quizzclub answer as well as your opening statement states "The first Hershey bar was produced in 1900.". Where do you come up with the arithmetic that gets you a result of 100 when you subtract 1900 from 2017? Your own statement contradicts your argument. I suggest you read your own reply again and get your calculator out to double check your arithmetic. The Hershey Milk Chocolate Bar was first sold in 1900, followed by the Hershey's Milk Chocolate with Almonds variety, which began production in 1908. That's not the beginning of the timeline though, Milton Hershey had a few failed ventures in the line of confections. About 15 years before the firsy Hershey's Bar, (in 1900, about 116 years ago), he was making and marketing Hershey's Lancaster Chocolate, but that wasn't a Hershey's Chocolate Bar so it is irrelevant to this question. Bottom line is that Hershey's Chocolate history is easily accessible via the internet and all sources I've found agree with the facts presented in the answer to this quizzclub question, and arithmetic as I learned it in school, as well as any calculator you can find will verify that1900 was more than 100 years ago by about 16 - 17 years, depending on the specific date in 1900 you are referencing. You have no valid argument and you even verified that in your own comment.

Depending what year each person is answering this question, depends on how old. As I am answering today, which is 6th Nov 2021 that makes Hershey Chocolate 121yrs old. Don't want to live that long. lol

I think the answer should be 121 years....2021 - 1900 = 121. If quiz club is going to use an old question they need to update it

Don’t be silly- it was a few days old , the original was eaten long ago therefore it does not really age. Once it has been eaten it’s gone When was the original bar manufactured / produced should be question.
