In 2017 which film won the Golden Raspberry Award for 'The Razzie Nominee So Rotten You Loved It ' category?
The Golden Raspberry Awards (also known in short terms as 'Razzies' and 'Razzie Awards') is a parody award show honouring the worst of cinematic under-achievements.
Co-founded by UCLA film graduates and film industry veterans John J. B. Wilson and Mo Murphy, the 'Razzie Awards' satirical annual ceremony has preceded its polar opposite, the coveted 'Academy Awards', for four decades. The term raspberry is used in its irreverent sense, as in "blowing a raspberry", which in turn comes from Cockney rhyming slang where "raspberry" is short for "raspberry tart", which is rhyming slang for "fart".
'Baywatch' is a 2017 American action comedy film based on the television series created by Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz, and Gregory J. Bonann. The film was directed by Seth Gordon and stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Jon Bass, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach and Priyanka Chopra. The story follows lifeguard Mitch Buchannon and his team who must take down a drug lord in an effort to save their beach.
Filmed principally in Florida and Savannah, Georgia, the film was released in the United States on May 25, 2017, by Paramount Pictures, grossed $177 million worldwide and received negative reviews from critics, with criticism for its crude humor, storyline, and character development, but Johnson's performance did receive some praise. Baywatch received five nominations at the 38th Golden Raspberry Awards, including Worst Picture and Worst Actor for Efron.
