I read this book to every one of my five children!!! We moved to the country,and we raised a hog and named HER, Wilbur! She was a 350 lb., pet!

I have read and re-read this book so many times. When the movie came out, I watched it and cried and cried when Wilbur had to leave without Charlotte. What a great story!

I read "Charlotte's Web" to my third grade class, and, when Charlotte died, I had difficulty keeping my face and voice from showing my grief. Many of my students could not believe that the main character died.
