In the British TV show “Dragon's Den”, where was investor Touker Suleyman born?

Touker was born Türker Süleyman in Famagusta in 1953. He is British by birth due to the island of Cyprus being part of the British Empire, prior to its independence in 1960.

During the island's political struggle, his family moved to south London and he attended school in Peckham.

In 1984, Suleyman's entrepreneurial journey began when he purchased small cash & carry business that he expanded into clothing manufacture, supplying major U.K. retail outlets.

In 2001 he acquired a bespoke shirtmaker for the princely sum of £1. Over the next 13 years, profits exploded from £60,000 to £30m and the group now has 30 stores, both at home and abroad.

He is involved in numerous successful businesses, several of which he has invested in during the TV show, Dragon's Den since 2015.
