In the U.S. TV sitcom "Bewitched", what did Samantha do when she performed a spell?

On the 1964 - 1972 U.S. TV sitcom "Bewitched", Samantha Stephens (Elizabeth Montgomery) would wiggle (twitch) her nose when she performed a magical spell. On the show, to highlight Samantha's action with her nose, special visual effects which were mostly accompanied by music were used.
