In which region of Italy is the city of Terni located?
Terni (Latin: Interamna Nahars) is an Italian municipality of 106,953 inhabitants and the capital of the province of the same name in Umbria.
The Terni basin area was already home to stable settlements in the protohistoric period, as evidenced by the Acciaierie necropolis, used from the last phase of the Late Bronze Age (10th century BC) until the beginning of the Early Iron Age (9th century/early 8th century BC) by a large community attributable to the protohistoric facies known as the Terni Culture.
