Is the US Navy transporting an Air Force B 52 on its ship?
This actually is a fake photo! It is easily debunked by comparing known measurements of a B-52 and the USS Nimitz [CVN 68]. The B-52 is placed right on the beam of the Nimitz and spans the entire flight deck. The wingspan of a B-52 is 185 ft. The beam of the Nimitz is 252 ft. If done to actual scale, the B-52's wingspan would only cover about 75% of the width of the deck.

You must be kidding! When the picture is an important part of the question, shouldn't it include what is being asked? Please retire this question or at least edit it so it makes sense.

I was a B-52 crew member in the 1970s and 80s. One of the crew members who flew sorties over Vietnam told a story about a time when they saw a Navy carrier off the coast and asked if they could make a low approach. They were cleared and made the approach. As they were getting near to the carrier, they saw the flag man frantically waving them. When they pulled up, the flag man seemed like he was about to jump overboard.

The question made no sense, where is the ship. A B-52 certainly cannot take-off from an aircraft carrier, however, there is no aircraft carrier in the picture. I would love to know what the heck is going on with this question.

Seemed easy to me, the plane could not have landed on the ship and it would have been extremely difficult if not impossible to load such a plane, and I can't think of a good enough reason to transport it this way even if they could load it.
