President John F. Kennedy was born on the 29th of May, but he celebrated his 45th birthday ten days earlier, on the 19th of May, 1962. A song by Marilyn Monroe was one of the most precious and exceptional presents the president received that day.
Monroe sang the traditional "Happy Birthday to You" lyrics in a sultry, intimate voice, with "Mr. President" inserted as Kennedy's name. After Monroe's performance a large cake was given to the president and he was invited on the stage. More than 15 thousand people took part in that famous celebration, including many celebrities.

I think her suicide could have been faked. She had dirt on the Kennedys ( Bobby as well as John) so she had to go before possibly telling all in a press release.

I agree that Marilyn was a talented actress - her image as a seductress overcame her reputation as an actress for some people but she played some serious roles such as in “River of No Return”, “Bus Stop” and “Some Like It Hot” and “The Misfits”, and maybe she had affairs with some prominent people but don’t forget ... they had affairs with her too, and it takes two to tango! And there is some question about how her death appeared to be “posed” which may never be answered. She was something special!

I wish someone had helped her before she was found dead of an overdose.
Who knows what she could have done with her life?
