It stayed in the top 10 for 10 weeks and on the "Hot 100" for 30 weeks. The song also peaked at number nine in Germany and remained on the chart for 51 weeks. In Australia, "November Rain" was ranked at number two on the 1992 end-of-year chart despite only reaching number five on the "ARIA Singles Chart" (Australian Recording Industry Association). The song peaked at number four on the UK "Singles Chart".
Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in March 1985 when local bands Hollywood Rose and L.A. Guns merged. When they signed to Geffen Records in 1986, the band's "classic lineup" consisted of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. Guns N' Roses was inducted into the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" on April 14, 2012. The group is one of the world's best-selling bands, having sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
