Of the aforementioned countries on this list, Pitcairn Island, with a population of 50, is the country with the highest percentage of self-proclaimed Christians, at 100%, and is tied with the Vatican in this respect.

Romania is the second highest on this list, at 98%

3rd on this list is Poland at 94.3 %

United States is 4th at 71% of its total population.

Looking at the actual numbers within a population, the United States has the greatest number compared to all countries, at approximately 230 million.

For those who look at the link there is a table of the top 10 countries headed by the Vatican. Pitcairn is not included because it is NOT a country. Terrible question Chris Lee! Equally bad job by the so-called checkers!

Pitcairn Island is not a country but an overseas territory of the UK. The population of the island are descendants of the Bounty Mutineers and the Tahitian they took with them. Many of the descendants were relocated to Norfolk Island which is why the Island population is so low.

It appears that Christians have a high rate of incest and child sexual abuse, in some areas. This is the case in the past in Pitcairn. There have been a high number of people gaoled or removed from the island for sexual abuse, most of it familial. Nowadays, it is more settled but it was quite confronting in the late 20th century.
