Prince Charles of the UK is considered an avid and odd collector of what item?

In most standard dictionaries, the word "collector" is defined as "someone who accumulates objects, such as antiques, trading cards, coins, books, stamps, etc. as a hobby". It is not uncommon for most people to collect something during their life. And for a good number of individuals, they truly enjoy collecting items that may be seen as unusual, strange, or outlandish.

Most of us have personal and/or weird quirks and for Prince Charles, it’s an obsession with toilet seats. Charles is an avid toilet seat collector; it is believed that he has a very substantial horde of seats. Because of his interest, he will even take his own white leather toilet seat with him wherever he travels.

This "fact" is cited on only one place in a google search of the internet, on a website entitled 'Endless Facts', with no explanation or expansion of topic noted. No commentary upon the details of the collection, which are normally found with such a subject. His usage of a white leather toilet seat while traveling, received as a gift from his sister Princess Anne, was about the only notation I could find regarding Bonnie Prince Charles and toilet seats... a fact, in and of itself, I found to be extremely odd. It is NOT mentioned on any other sites; not even when "Prince Charles" and "toilet seats" are used as search terms. If he were, in truth, an avid collector of toilet seats I would think that it would at least be referenced in Wikipedia, but NO, it's not there. I call 'FALSE!' on this one... I do not believe it to be true.
