Stanley Andrews (August 1891 – June 1969) was an American actor who was "The Old Ranger" and first host of the syndicated western anthology television series, "Death Valley Days". He served as host from 1952 until 1963. In 1964, Ronald Reagan took over as host of "Death Valley Days". He also appeared on the show in acting roles. It was his last professional work as an actor before entering politics and eventually becoming President of the United States of America.

The only regular person in the series was the host and narrator. Originally, it was Stanley Andrews as "The Old Ranger". The show was specifically created in 1930 for radio. Later it became a popular TV anthology and was one of the longest running series in TV history (1952 - 1970). It was able to produce 558 episodes.

Its sponsor was 20 Mule Team Borax, and it presented stories that revolved around the legends and folk lore of Death Valley, CA where borax had for the most part been mined.
