So many connections to this movie. The night nurse was based on my girlfriend's mother. A friend was a patient and another an orderly. The Studebaker used in the movie belonged to the brother of one of my best friends. Met Kesey.

Demekia Meka London, actually, the interior shots were filmed at a sound studio in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, England. The opening aerial shots were filmed at Saint Mary Lake & Wild Goose Island in Glacier National Park, Montana. The Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood in Oregon Was used for some establishing shots. The 1997 miniseries was the one shot in Colorado at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.There has been a lot of confusion on the internet and in word of mouth rumors because of that.

Love the movie. And now that we live in Oregon, every time we go to Depot Bay i think of the boys going deep sea fishing. Another chance for Jack to cause trouble, bit inspire people.

I know this because I was a member of the honor medical society and got their magazine. The magazine's movie critic was a Psychiatrist named Ralph Crawshaw (pretty sure about the name) who had done his residency at the hospital of the book and movie. He was there at the time of the story and said none of it was true. That's all I can say about it The man seemed perfectly reasonable, judging from his writings. John Agnew, M.D.

Bob deRoos, I liked the book better than the movie. Did you mean to say you have connections to the book? Surely not just the movie. I worked under a supervising nurse who was nicknamed Nurse Ratchett - not behind her back, either.
