Rome–Fiumicino International Airport "Leonardo da Vinci" is an international airport in Fiumicino, Italy, serving Rome. It is the busiest airport in the country. The airport was officially opened on 15 January 1961.
The airport served as the main hub for Alitalia, formerly the flag carrier and largest Italian airline, which terminated operations on 15 October 2021. It is now the main international hub for Alitalia's successor, ITA Airways.
As of 2022, it has won the “Best Airport Award” in the category of hubs with over 40 million passengers, issued by Airports Council International (ACI) Europe, for three years in a row.
During construction the remains of Caligula's Giant Ship were found.

As there is only one Italian painter in the options it was worth the risk of going for that artist and hey it was correct.

Knowing Rome is in Italy and Leonardo da Vinci being the only Italian artist in the options I was easy to work the answer out.

1971, Rome. I had a red-eye flight to Amsterdam and needed a ride to daVinci Airport. I had travelers' checks and just a little bit of Italian lire. I encountered a group of cabbies hanging out and told them where I needed to go and how much I had. They elected one poor guy to be the one to take me there.
