The horrible Ku Klux Klan (KKK) movement was formed in the United States in 1865. The movement has advocated extremist reactionary currents (white supremacy, anti-immigration). Their "point of view" was expressed through terrorism aimed at people whom they opposed. They have called for the "purification" of American society.
Even though members of the Klan swore to uphold American values and Christian morality, virtually every Christian denomination officially denounced the KKK.

It is easy to single out one group and say how bad they are but just remember "for every reaction there is an equal opposite reaction."
