What is the name of the process in which plants lose water into the atmosphere?
The process might be characterized as administration of water inside a plant. The thing is that a plant "decides" what amount of water is enough for its metabolism and growth of roots and leaves. After the administration is done, the waste water is released into the atmosphere through the special micro holes (though it's more correct to call them pores) located on the surface of a leaf. Besides, the process serves as a natural cooler for the plants.
