As she did not know the book as the Sanditon as that is what it was published as, after her death. The correct answer is the brothers, as that is what she referred to the book as, while alive and writing it.

She only started Sanditon before her death whereas she wrote the whole of Persuasion. Sanditon was completed by someone else. It was serialised recently on British television.
