What did footballer Cristiano Ronaldo buy his agent as a wedding present?

The multi-millionaire Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has given his agent Jorge Mendes a Greek island as a wedding present, media reports say. He acted as best man for Mr Mendes, 49, who is one of football's most successful agents and runs a business called Gestifute for developing top football talent. The island has not been named but the price tag could run into the millions.

The celebrity wedding took place in an exclusive residential area of Porto. Mr Mendes and Sandra Barbosa have three children and they have been in a civil partnership since 2005. Some top footballers from Spain and Portugal were there, along with Real Madrid President Florentino Perez, Benfica President Luis Filipe Vieira and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

Sir Alex Ferguson was also one of the celebrities there. The former Manchester United manager signed Ronaldo in 2003 and the Portuguese forward - one of the world's best players - stayed at the Old Trafford club until 2009.

Ronaldo has won the Ballon d'Or world footballer of the year award three times.

That’s sad Vince as behind the footballer there lies a decent man who has donated millions to charity over the years, including 5 million to Haiti after that devastating earthquake.

These sports people dedicate their life to vigorous training from an early age the pain and injury these players go through you would not understand unless you play, Maradona had massive injections into his injury's before matches lived a life of pain players like Cristiano are more than soccer players they are role models for kids like my son who trains 4 nights a week and plays games weekends so I disagree about no skills and good for those who can make the money while they can ...Go for it who ever you are!
