What is the colour of the bull, centre or inner rings of an archery target?
Standard FITA targets are marked with 10 evenly spaced concentric rings, which generally have score values from 1 through 10 assigned to them. In FITA archery, targets are coloured as follows:
- 1 ring & 2 ring - white
- 3 ring & 4 ring - black
- 5 ring & 6 ring - blue
- 7 ring & 8 ring - red
- 9 ring, 10 ring & inner 10 ring - gold

Bad question and answer because different colors are used in other shootings sports.

In July 1999, Geena Davis was one of 300 women who vied for a semifinals berth in the U.S. Olympic archery team, to participate in the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics. She was placed 24th of 300 and did not qualify for the team, but participated as a wild-card entry in the Sydney International Golden Arrow competition. In August 1999, Davis then stated that she was not an athlete growing up and that her introduction to archery was in 1997, two years prior to her tryouts.

However many different colour combinations other sports use, it appears archery use gold as the bullseye and as this was the question it’s hard to understand why it’s a bad question.

Well since they didn't have yellow, I figured it must be gold so got it right...I still refer to it as yellow...looks more yellow than gold to me 🌟

Steve Grant, I appreciate the correction about the interest of Actress Gina Davis's participation in the sport of "Archery" in the "2000 Summer Olympic Games" that were held in Australia.

I see the red and white most. Only once in a long time do I see multiple color targets

I wonder how many of those claiming red have actually seen an archery target.
Many years ago I watched an archery event, and I was looking for yellow. So gold was the obvious answer of the given choices.

Every archery target I ever saw had a red center. I have been to several archery competitions and all the targets had red at the center. Never gold.

Red and black. They stand out more on a white background.

Janice Fish, the sport IS specified. It’s ARCHERY. Read the question CAREFULLY before whining about it.

Bruce A. Girdler, the question doesn’t ask about other ‘shootings sports’, it only asks about archery. Details matter - it is not a bad question because YOU cannot comprehend a simple statement or do not know the answer.

In the olympics when watching archery they always refer to the Bull as a Gold. It is red in a dart board.
