Alaska has a disproportionate amount of large cities, having the four largest cities by geographical area. Sitka, Alaska tops the list with an area of 4,811.4 square miles. This is larger than the states of Delaware and Rhode Island combined, with 1,982 square miles and 1,214 square miles respectively.
