What is the longest canal in the world?
It is amazing that this hydraulic structure is not only the longest one in the world – it is also known as one of the most ancient artificial rivers. People were building it for two thousand years! Just imagine the size of it - the canal can be seen even from space.
Nowadays the canal has 24 locks while its length is about 1,104 mi. It sets an important water connection between the two largest Chinese cities, Beijing and Shanghai.
What are your thoughts on this subject?

When I hear the term Grand Canal I thought Venice, Italy, never heard of the Grand Canal of China. And I doubt it can be seen from space.
