What is the meaning of apologue?
Apologue is a (noun). A moral fable, especially one having animals or inanimate objects as characters. Synonyms of apologue are a parable, or allegory.
An example of this is as follows: The priest included apologues in his sermons about sly foxes and smart rabbits to appeal to the children within his congregation.
