What is the name of an animated meerkat character from the famous Disney film "The Lion King"?

Timon Leslie Berkowitz is a talkative animated meerkat character from the famous Disney film The Lion King. He is almost always with his closest friend, a warthog named Pumbaa, and spends much of his time eating grubs. He made an appearance in all three of The Lion King films and even has his own series. Timon also appears in several video games. His character was inspired and based off the information given by Pam Bennett Wallberg, who runs the Fellow Earthlings' Wildlife Center, a sanctuary for meerkats.

The Lion King is a 1994 American animated musical film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 32nd Disney animated feature film, and the fifth animated film produced during a period known as the Disney Renaissance.

Timon was portrayed through his many appearances by Nathan Lane (in all three films and early episodes of the show), Max Casella (the original actor in The Lion King Broadway musical), Kevin Schon (in certain episodes of the show), Quinton Flynn (in certain episodes of the show), Bruce Lanoil in the Wild About Safety shorts and Kingdom Hearts II.
