What is the name of Juliet's brother in the film "Heavenly Creatures"?

In the 1994 film "Heavenly Creatures", the name of Juliet's brother is Jonathan Hulme. He arrived in New Zealand much later than her. He came with their parents after she had been in the country for months. She went ahead of the others to do what she called "some sleuthing".

In June 1954, at the age of 15, Juliet Hulme and her best friend Pauline Parker murdered Parker's mother, Honorah Rieper. Hulme's parents were in the process of separating. Juliet was supposed to go to South Africa, but decided to stay with relatives.

The two teenage girls (Juliet and Pauline) became very close friends. They created a rich fantasy life together. Their fantasy was populated with famous actors such as James Mason and Orson Welles. They told news media that they never wanted to be separated. The film is based on a true story.

i knew the girl who played pauline parker. she was a girlfriend of my son. she never became as famous as Kate Winslett but Peter Jackson gave her a kick start for an acting career. i have noticed that many Kiwis, while talented never seek out the limelight. part of our laid back character i suppose
