Hudson Bay is the second largest bay in the world, and it is located in Canada. It is found in one of the most beautiful places in Canada. It is in fact a very large body of water, which comes after the Bay of Bengal in drainage size. This bay actually has large areas in Canada that include Nunavut at the top north, northwest, Ontario at the south, Quebec at the southeast, and Manitoba at the southwest, almost all of which encircle the bay.

Hudson Bay is 1,370 kilometers long and 1,050 kilometers wide. It includes a large inland sea that is almost encircled by all the land structures. Then, at its mouth, it breaks into small archipelagos between the bay and the land areas. Hudson Bay's southern arm is often and fondly called James Bay.

Through the archipelagos, the waters of Hudson Bay join the Arctic Ocean at the top north west and the Baffin Sea at the west of Greenland; this bay location is where Ilulissat and Zackenberg and the North Atlantic Ocean are found.

Also, there are many islands in Hudson Bay, mostly near the eastern coast. All are part of the territory Nunavut. One group of islands is the Belcher Islands. Another group includes the Ottawa Islands.
