Spencer Payne, yes, as Americans we must imagine how much we would welcome 30 years of proxy wars of our soil. I speak of Afghanistan, where we fought the Soviets in the 80s. I looked this up after I answered the question. According to the Webster dictionary, xenophobia is dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries...but I guess that could be classified as fear since "phobia" is Latin for fear.

A common spelling error. Lightning could lighten up the area. LOL

An interesting word for today's climate. It should be understood that a "phobia" is an irrational phenomenon, meaning outside the realm of reason. We seem to have quite a number of people in our society that appear to be irrational, nicht war?
