What parrot has the best speaking ability?

Congo grays are considered the best talkers in the parrot world. They are able to learn over 1,000 words and phrases. They can mimic human voices almost perfectly. Due to this they are extremely popular pets. However they require a lot of care and hard work because of their size. There are 2 types of gray parrots: the already mentioned Congo gray and the Timneh grays both of which are equally good talkers. Some experts believe they approach speech with the ability to relate concepts of a human toddler. They learn to talk at a young age, however, Timneh grays mature faster than Congo grays so they will usually talk first. The smartest Congo gray parrot in the world is named Einstein and is extremely vocal.

Pity they forgot to mention the trafficking of these birds or that many die due to being transported in cramped conditions to be pets which is pushing them close to exhibition.

My friend had one. Wow. That bird caused havoc. He got the doorbell, knocking on the door and the telephone ring down perfectly. They had to buy new phones every month or two because you were always answering a phone when it didn’t ring. The sound was easy for him, but, given a few weeks, he’d get the timing right. He also made the whistling and explosion of a bomb. That become maddening when he stopped doing the explosion. The whistling of a falling bomb followed by nothing. He paced and cussed. If you held the phone receiver up to him he’d bite it and say “Helloooo”. He also whistled the Andy Griffith Show theme. Amazing bird.
