Uranus, the seventh planet in our Solar System, has 27 known moons orbiting it. All of the moons are named after the works of William Shakespeare and Alexander Pope. The five primary moons are Titania, Oberon, Umbriel, Ariel and Miranda. Titania and Oberon are from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", while Miranda is from "The Tempest." Umbriel is from from Pope's poem "The Rape of the Lock." Ariel appears in both "The Tempest" and "The Rape of the Lock."

Puck is from "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Juliet is from "Romeo and Juliet". Belinda appears in "The Rape of the Lock".

Uranus's moons are divided into three groups: thirteen inner moons, five major moons, and nine irregular moons. The inner moons are small dark bodies that share common properties and origins with Uranus's rings. The five major moons are massive enough to have reached hydrostatic equilibrium, and four of them show signs of internally driven processes such as canyon formation and volcanism on their surfaces.

Uranus's irregular moons have elliptical and strongly inclined (mostly retrograde) orbits at large distances from the planet.

Titania, is the largest of Uranus' moon. With a diameter of 1,578 kilometers, it is the eighth-largest moon in the Solar System.
