What primary colors are used to make black paint?

Red, blue and yellow are the three primary colors that make black paint when mixed together. Simply mix equal amounts of red, blue, and yellow together and you will get a nice black.

Since paint is a pigment, and therefore subtractive of light, the primary colors to get close to black are yellow, cyan, and magenta. Yeah, like your printer ink colors. This question is hogwash. Hogwash is more of a brown color.
