What is the name of the famous theater which caught fire and burned to the ground in 1613?

The history of the theater is connected with William Shakespeare

The theater burned down at the beginning of the 17^th century (1613). The thing is that it was a wooden building so when one of the cannons fired, it set the whole theater on fire. This fire destroyed it within an hour! The disaster happened during a performance of Henry VIII.

The building was reconstructed in 1997.

Actually, there's was a second Globe theatre, built, only a year after the destroyed one but on the same site; this lasted until it's enforced closure in 1642. The current (third reconstruction) theatre sits just 200 metres from the originals.

Was there a Henry V111 play ? I know there was Henry V and a Richard IV as I did these for A levels. Not so sure there was a Henry though 🙂
