Which of the following does not cross the equator?

The Equator passes through 11 countries, and it crosses the territorial waters of three additional countries.

In South America, it passes through Ecuador (which takes its name from the Spanish word for Equator), Colombia, and Brazil. In Africa, it passes through Gabon, Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, and the island nation of Sao Tome and Principe. In Asia, it passes through the island nation of Indonesia. (The entire continental mainland of Asia lies north of the Equator.)

The Equator crosses the territorial waters of Equatorial Guinea (Africa), the Maldives (Asia), and Kiribati (Oceania), but it does not touch any land in these three countries.

Of course there must be a trick and Ecuatorial Guinea does not cross the Equator

Pierre Poirier, same here, I was struggling because I knew the other three were on the Equator and have visited them so although it didn't sound right I had to chose Equatorial Guinea.
