What two U.S. states border the Hoover Dam?
Hoover Dam straddles the mighty Colorado River, which forms the border between the states of Nevada and Arizona. Considered to be the world’s largest dam and an engineering marvel at the time of its construction in the 1930s, Hoover Dam brings much-needed water and power to the Southwest.

I live in NY and took a cross country road trip from NY to Nevada and I went to the Hoover dam. I walked across the bridge from Nevada to Airizona. It was a breathtaking experience.

MARVEL? YES, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT POUR THE CEMENT ALL AT ONCE. A CONTINUAL POURING WHICH WAS--IS THE WAY TO POUR IT. THEY POURED IN HIGH--LOW SQUARES THAT WERE STAGGERED IN ROWS. ALSO THE DAM WILL NOT BE FULLY CURED FOR APPROX 10,000 YEARS.
