What U.S. state flag is this?
The flag of Kansas originates from 1927. It contains the state seal & a sunflower. The design of the flag was modified in 1961 and the name of the state was added. Of course, it's not shown in the question on purpose.

I picked Nebraska as I've been every where in this country and sunflowers are planted for the birds. Fields, patches and here along fence lines..
Don't know my State flags only our American one and two others now this one and I missed reading the motto.

I'm from Kansas. I never even thought about what appears to be mountains on the state flag! While there are no mountains here, the flint hills region does have pretty large hills. Kansas is not all flat like people think it is.
