What was Buzz Lightyear's original name?

Pixar's Woody and Buzz Lightyear are two of the most famous animated characters of all time. But there was almost a time when Buzz went by an entirely different name: Lunar Larry. (In some development sketches of the space ranger, you can see an "LL" buckle on his belt.) Those aren't the only differences from when the film was originally conceived. Originally, Buzz had much less of an aloof astronaut persona and was more of a true villain. And Woody had started out as a ventriloquist dummy, an idea that was ultimately scrapped because he was "creeping people out."
