Mickey Rooney was born Joseph Yule Jr. on September 23, 1920, in Brooklyn, New York. He first took the stage as a toddler in his parents' vaudeville act at 17 months old. He made his first film appearance in 1926.

Died: April 6, 2014, (age 93) in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA.

He is probably best known for his "Andy Hardy" movies.

He was in several movies with (Frances Gumm) Judy Garland.
