"Three's Company" is an American television series that aired for eight seasons on from March 1977 to September 1984. It is based on the British sitcom "Man About the House".

The story revolves around three single roommates: Janet Wood (Joyce DeWitt), Chrissy Snow (Suzanne Somers) and Jack Tripper (John Ritter), who all platonically live together in a Santa Monica, California apartment.

The show chronicles the comedic escapades of the trio's constant misunderstandings, social lives, and financial struggles. A top 10 hit from 1977 to 1983, the series remains popular in syndication. The show also spawned similar spin-offs to those that "Man About the House" had: "The Ropers" and "Three's a Crowd", based upon "George and Mildred" and "Robin's Nest", respectively.

Suzanne Somers character on the show "Chrissy" was short for Christmas Snow. Chrissy the eldest child of Reverend Luther Snow (Peter Mark Richman) and his wife, she explains that she was named "Christmas" because her father was a big fan of Bing Crosby. In another episode, she states that her name is Christmas due to having been born in December. In another episode, Chrissy falls and hits her head. She ends up in the hospital and explains to the nurse that her father named her Christmas because "she was the best present he ever got".

Suzanne Marie Somers (née Mahoney; born October 16, 1946) is an American actress, author, singer, businesswoman, and health spokesperson.
