What was the name of Daedalus' son, the boy who flew too close to the sun?

In Greek mythology, Icarus is the son of the master craftsman Daedalus (the creator of the Labyrinth for King Minos of Crete near his palace at Knossos to imprison the Minotaur, a half-man, half-bull monster). Daedalus had also been imprisoned by King Minos within the walls of the Labyrinth. But, the great craftsman's genius would not suffer captivity.

Daedalus fashioned two pairs of wings out of wax and feathers for himself and his son. Icarus ignored his father's instructions not to fly too close to the sun, whereupon the wax in his wings melted and he fell into the sea. He fell into the sea in the area which today bears his name, the Icarian Sea near Icaria, an island southwest of Samos.

Very good information for those that they don't know about dedalos and Ikaros ,i learn that in elementary school ,and I love Greek mythology ,and beyond that I like mythology in General

Daedalus told Icarus not to fly too close to the sun, as the heat would melt the wax; and not to fly too close to the sea, because if the feathers of the wings got wet they would become too heavy and pull him down. I remember translating that from a Latin text some 45 years ago. !!! And to think of all the useful things I've learned and forgotten in-between.
