On the 1993 -1998 U.S. TV series "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" Larry Sellers (born in October 1949 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma) is the actor in the show who portrays Cloud Dancing, a Cheyenne medicine man. Because of his acting abilities at the time, he was able to get an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

While working in the entertainment industry, Sellers drew on his Native American heritage as an Osage, Cherokee, and Lakota to be a true professional and very credible actor. The creator and producer, Beth Sullivan, in a television interview about "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" said that in order for him [Sellers] to play the part, he required that the character be brought "across as the representation of a real Native American" both of tribal ethnicity and as a whole for all of the past and present Native American nations.
