What was the name of the Jeep in the Roy Rogers TV series?

"The Roy Rogers Show" was an American TV series that ran from December 1951 through June 1957. Roy's side kick on the show was Pat Brady, and he drove an old Jeep. The Jeep was named Nellybelle and it had a mind of its own. The Jeep would often take off (driver-less) with Pat running after it.

Roy's real life wife Dale Evans was also a star of the show. Roy, Dale, and Roy's horse Trigger, are icons of early TV, and they continued preforming after the show ended.

While I'm too young to have watched the first run of the series I did watch the re-runs of it when I was a kid. They definitely don't make good shows like that anymore and it would be nice if they did.

My Mom always called all her cars Nellybelle. I wonder if that's why? I didn't remember that character or the jeep but I got it right because I figured it was more of a cutesie name than a tough name.

We visited the Roy Roger's, Dale Evans museum in Victorville, CA, years ago before it shut down. We were excited to, say the least, when we were able to meet & speak with Roy himself. He was riding on a mobility scooter at the time and it had Trigger ll painted on it. He was older, of course, but his eyes and his voice were the same. We were thrilled to say the least.
