What was the original name for a Jack in a standard deck of poker cards?
Another name for a Jack while playing card games such as poker is Knave. Traditionally, the Jack (or Knave) is pictured as a man in an aristocratic European dress of the 16th or 17th century. As the Jack follows the ten and precedes the Queen, its rank usually plays as 11.
