In the 1997 film "Good Will Hunting", Will Hunting (Matt Damon) works as a janitor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is a 20-year-old South Boston laborer, who is an unrecognized genius. He is in a deferred prosecution program and is fulfilling a court remedy agreement for assaulting a police officer. Will becomes a client of a therapist and then studies advanced mathematics with a renowned professor.
Hunting is lucky to be working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It is a private research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
