According to the Beatles song, where does Mean Mr. Mustard sleep and shave?
According to the Beatles song on the album Abbey Road:
Mean Mr. Mustard sleeps in the park, shaves in the dark, trying to save paper
Sleeps in a hole in the road, saving up to buy him some clothes
Keeps a ten bob note up his nose
Such a mean old man, Such a mean old man
The song was written by John Lennon (and credited to Lennon/McCartney, as many Beatle's song were), supposedly written about a miser who hid his money in order to prevent people from spending it. Lennon referred to it as a "piece of crap I wrote in India." It was included in the anthology of songs on Abbey Road, beginning with "You Never Give Me Your Money"
