The evil capitalist Peter Kingsley is killed in the second season of the TV show "24" in the state of California in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Kingsley was played by Tobin Bell (born August 1942). Bell often played the role of a villain or harsh killer on TV shows or in big screen motion pictures.

In the series "24", Kingsley (Bell) is a businessman in the oil industry. He also has specific ties to U.S. military and intelligence sources. As one of the key masterminds in a conspiracy concerning a Los Angeles nuclear attack, he is hired by a German arms dealer (Max) to assist the terrorist group Second Wave. They are tasked with detonating a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles. They have to fabricate evidence that will make the attack appear as if it was ordered by three Middle Eastern countries. The goal for Kingsley and his partners is to profit from a war in the Middle East.

Kingsley also had a mole within a different conspiracy. It was one sponsored by Roger Stanton, the director of the NSA, serving under President David Palmer. Along with Colonel Ron Samuels and Senator Bruce Gluck, Stanton orchestrated a plot to undermine Palmer's presidency. Stanton however didn't know that Kingsley was working to betrayed him and his group's intention on stopping the detonation of the bomb at the last minute. After all of Kingsley's efforts are foiled and exposed by Jack Bauer, Kingsley is killed by a sniper agent.
