Where is Mayon Volcano located?
Mayon Volcano is located in Albay Province on the southern tip of Luzon Island in the Philippines. It stands approximately 8100 ft and is regarded as the “The most perfect cone shaped volcano” in the world. Mayon is an active volcano and erupts almost every 10 years.
It is a classic stratovolcano with a 250 meter diameter summit crater. It is also a part of the Pacific Ring of Fire and is one of the several volcanoes in the Bicol Region.
