Where is the Azure Window located?
The Azure Window is a limestone natural arch on the Maltese island of Gozo. It is situated near Dwejra Bay on the Inland Sea. The formation, which was created after two limestone sea caves collapsed, is today a very popular scuba diving location.
Specifically, concerning Gozo, it is an island of the Maltese archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. The island is a key part of Malta. After the island of Malta itself, Gozo is the second largest island in the archipelago. Compared to its southeastern neighbor, Gozo is more rural and known for its scenic hills, which are featured on its coat of arms.

It was still there when we last visited Malta and Gozo but it has since collapsed into the sea.

It was beautiful before it collapsed during a storm in March 2017. If someone likes to snorkel or scuba dive they can see the remnants under water as it's very clear as my husband has dived there a few years after the window collapsed.
