Where is the largest collection of Bauhaus style buildings in the world?

The White City of Tel Aviv is the largest collection of Bauhaus style buildings in the world. It is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for its impressive collection of elegant white buildings, many of which have been amazingly restored.

Note from history: Between 1930 -1938 more than 4.500 buildings were designed in the international modern style: houses with deep, rounded balconies, flat roofs, horizontal windows to cut the glare of the Mediterranean sun.

The Bauhaus was a design school in Weimar Germany that was started by such architects as Walter Gropius and Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe (sp?). It was disbanded by Adolf Hitler and the architects, artists and designers who were a part of it dispersed to various places around the globe. Mies and Gropius did extensive work in the US and Mies in particular was the creator of what became known as the International Style exemplified by such buildings as the Seagram Building in New York and the Lakeshore Apartments in Chicago.

Mayet Minorca, it is a style of modern architecture. It is named after it's originator. Defining characteristics are clean lines and lack of elements that only serve as decoration. It depends on proportion and functionality and was rather shocking in its first days.
