Where is vision processed in the human brain?
The neocortex is divided into four major lobes: the frontal lobe, the parietal lobe, the temporal lobe, and occipital lobe. These lobes are further divided into different regions. The frontal lobes are involved with control of movement, from stimulation of individual muscles to abstract planning about what to do. The parietal lobe processes visual, auditory and touch information. The temporal lobe is the primary area for early auditory processing and a high level visual processing area. The occipital lobe processes visual information and sends it to the parietal and temporal lobes.

Ummm. Not so "common sense", as you erroneously declared it, James. Optic and Occipital are two totally roots in Latin. Just because they both begin with "O" does not make them derivitavies of the same root (now THAT is common sense. Your logic is way off base, since "occiput, occipitis..." is a combination of 2 Latin words meaning "BACK of the skull". That's where the "Occipital Nerve" is, and has absolutely no relationship to the Latin word "Opticus", from "Ops", which means "eye".
Other than that, good guess, lol.
